1. Local initiative is a form of participation by residents in resolving local government issues by initiating consideration by the Council of any issue falling within the jurisdiction of local government.
2. The procedure for initiating, organizing the collection of signatures, and submitting a local initiative for consideration by the Council is determined by the Regulations on Local Initiatives in the Poltava Urban Territorial Community.
