Brief description:

The village of Valok is located 2 km from the left bank of the Vilkhova Govtva River, 1.5 km from the villages of Ochkanivka, Kaplunivka and Lozivka. A drying stream with a ravine flows through the village. The village of Ochkanivka is located on the left bank of the Serednya Govtva River, upstream at a distance of 1 km is the village of Kucherivka (Dykanskyi district), on the opposite bank is the village of Nadezhda (Dykanskyi district). The village of Lozivka is located 1.5 km from the villages of Kaplunivka, Valok and Dolyna (Dykanskyi district). The village of Kaplunivka is located 2 km from the left bank of the Serednya Govtva River, 1.5 km from the villages of Ochkanivka, Valok and Lozivka. A drying stream flows through the village.

Chornoglazivka - under this name the village is mentioned in historical sources only in the 19th century, before that the village was called Kiykivshchyna and belonged to Mr. Kiyk. Later this village became the property of retired Colonel Chornoglazov and was named after his surname
